
TEHS Allied Health Leadership & Clinical Governance Framework
Julie Rankin, Occupational Therapist P3, from Territory Palliative Care has been chosen to be a TEHS Allied Health Clinical representative and will meet with the Allied Health Training and Education Advisory Group during 2018/ 2019.
The initial meeting on 8/2/18 outlined the Terms of Reference, TEHS Allied Health Training Plan and the Evaluation Framework. The next meeting will feedback any concerns and look at preparing for the 2018/2019 calendar.
‘The key purpose is to provide strategic information, advice and recommendations in the planning, development, coordination and evaluation of TEHS Allied Health workforce education and training.
In TEHS there are 292 AHP’s spread across 16 professions and 7 different locations and services so it is important that available funding provides the best outcomes so as to upskill, support and provide development for staff throughout the length of their career with TEHS.’
Julie graduated from WA. Curtin University (BA.App.Sc.OT) in 1980 and has worked in a variety of clinical areas in both WA and the NT.
